All of our camera including thermal camera and day camera support temperature compensation, to improve back focus effect, the focus motor move at the same time as zoom motor.
Testing way: For example Focus Position A, to test if focus will return to position A after zoom in/out,
Thermal Imaging:
Auto Focus Mode (temperature compensation ON): The focus motor follows during the zoom process to maintain clear infinity focus, and the auto focus is triggered after the zoom stop.
Position A.
Manual Focus Mode (temperature compensation ON): The focus motor follows during the zoom process to maintain clear infinity focus, and the auto focus is NOT triggered after the zoom stop. Not Position A.
Manual Focus Mode (temperature compensation ON): Manually set focus value, the focus motor will still follow when zoom, keeping the infinity focus clear and not returning to the original focus position. Not Position A.
Manual Focus Mode (temperature compensation OFF): Manually set focus value, the focus motor will not follow. Position A.
When under a preset, or exact focus position command, the original focus value will be remembered first, and the focus will no longer be infinity. Position A.
Visible Camera (default temperature compensation ON)
Auto Focus Mode: The focus motor follows during the zoom to infinity focus, and the auto focus is triggered after the zoom is completed.
Manual Focus: The focus motor follows during the zoom to infinity focus, and the focus is NOT triggered after the zoom is completed.
Manual Focus: Manually set focus value, enable auto focus, it will keep infinity focus when zooming.
Manual Focus: Manually set focus value, not enable auto focus, the focus motor will return to original position when zoom back.
When under a preset, or exact focus position command, the original focus value will be remembered first, and the focus will no longer be infinity.
